R E S O L U T I O N

	WHEREAS, Mateo Delgado of El Paso marked a special milestone 

in his life on May 14, 2005, for on that day he graduated from the 

University of New Mexico School of Law; and

	WHEREAS, The son of Hector and Julie Delgado and a graduate of 

Cathedral High School, Mr. Delgado distinguished himself during his 

academic career at UNM with his scholastic aptitude and dedication, 

earning the Law School Dean's Award for greatest student 

contribution; moreover, he earned special recognition for legal 

research and writing that he completed under the supervision of 

associate dean and health law professor Rob Schwartz for the New 

Mexico Legislature regarding state and federal health care changes 

during the past 15 years; and

	WHEREAS, Having held a deep interest in health care law for 

many years, Mr. Delgado looks forward to a meaningful and rewarding 

practice relating to the health care field, and it is a pleasure to 

honor him as he embarks on this exciting new chapter in his life; 

now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 

Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Mateo Delgado 

on his graduation from the University of New Mexico School of Law 

and extend to him sincere best wishes for success in all his future 

endeavors; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 

prepared for Mr. Delgado as an expression of high regard by the 

Texas House of Representatives.
