R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, July 11, 2005, was indeed a special day for Michael Earl Owens and Kriste Colleen White, for it marked the birth of their twins, Morgan Marie and Michael Earl Owens; and WHEREAS, The darling duo were no doubt the center of attention among staff and patients alike when they were born at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth; Morgan weighed 3 pounds, 3 ounces, and measured 15-1/2 inches in length when she made her debut, while her brother, Michael, weighed 4 pounds, 6 ounces, and measured 16-1/2 inches at birth; and WHEREAS, Blessed with a double dose of charm, Morgan Marie and Michael Earl have brought boundless joy into the hearts of their parents, their big sister, Erica Kristen Rayford, and their grandparents, John and Magella Brooks, Titus and Lorraine White, and Timothy and Darcella Owens; and WHEREAS, The birth of a child is always a joyous occasion, and it is a great pleasure to formally recognize these two new citizens of the Lone Star State and to honor their delighted parents; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby officially announce the births of Morgan Marie Owens and Michael Earl Owens and extend heartfelt congratulations to their parents, Michael Earl Owens and Kriste Colleen White, on the birth of their twins; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for the twins and their parents as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
