H.R. No. 146







R E S O L U T I O N

	WHEREAS, Bob and Dee Phelps of Farmers Branch are celebrating 

their 50th wedding anniversary on September 3, 2005, marking an 

important milestone in their long and happy union; and

	WHEREAS, United in matrimony in 1955 in Terral, Oklahoma, the 

couple have enjoyed a loving marriage that has been blessed with two 

children, Rob and Kim, three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild; 

and

	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Phelps have long been valued members of 

their community, and Mr. Phelps is currently in his 10th year as 

mayor of Farmers Branch, following nine years of service on the city 

council; and

	WHEREAS, The enduring union of Bob and Dee Phelps remains a 

source of inspiration to all those with whom they have shared the 

richness of their lives, and it is indeed a pleasure to join in 

celebrating their 50 years together; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 

Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Bob and Dee 

Phelps on their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them 

sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 

prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Phelps as an expression of high regard by 

the Texas House of Representatives.
