R E S O L U T I O N

	WHEREAS, Lounita and L. C. Ayers of Caddo Mills indeed have 

much to celebrate, for July 29, 2005, marked their 75th wedding 

anniversary, and they commemorated this momentous milestone with 

family and friends at a reception at their home the following day; 

and

	WHEREAS, Married in Durant, Oklahoma, in 1930, Mr. and Mrs. 

Ayers have built an enduring union that has been blessed with two 

sons, Bobby Ayers and Lawrence Ayers, Jr.; moreover, they have 

shared in the joy of welcoming into their family five grandchildren 

and eight great-grandchildren; and

	WHEREAS, This devoted couple are congregants at First Baptist 

Church and valued members of the Caddo Mills community; and

	WHEREAS, For 75 years, Mr. and Mrs. Ayers have filled each 

other's lives with many happy times and cherished family memories, 

and their love and commitment serve as a source of inspiration to 

all who know them; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 

Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Lounita and 

L. C. Ayers on the joyous occasion of their 75th anniversary and 

extend to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be 

it further

	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 

prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Ayers as an expression of high regard by 

the Texas House of Representatives.
