H.R. No. 168





R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The family members and friends of Rene Ramos of Dallas were deeply saddened by his passing on July 27, 2005, at the age of 63, and we join them in mourning their loss; and WHEREAS, Mr. Ramos was born on July 23, 1942, in Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, and during the course of his life's journey he saw many dramatic changes in the world around him; and WHEREAS, Among his proudest accomplishments were his loving and close-knit family, and they continue to uphold the values he held most dear, demonstrating the lasting, positive influence he has had on their lives; and WHEREAS, Although Rene Ramos's time on this earth has ended far too soon, his unique and irreplaceable spirit will live on in the hearts of all those fortunate enough to have known him; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of Rene Ramos and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife, Hilda Ramos; to his sons, L. A. Ramos, Rene Ramos, Jr., Alan Ramos, and Jeu Ramos; to his 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; to his brother, Ramiro Ramos; to his sisters, Ruth Montemayor and Rocio Sanchez; and to his other loved ones; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for the members of his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Rene Ramos.
