R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Nine decades of joyful times and meaningful
accomplishments are truly reasons to celebrate, and on September 3,
2005, Betty H. Donoho of Farmers Branch is commemorating her 90th
birthday at a party in her honor; and
WHEREAS, Born on September 11, 1915, in Knotsville,
Tennessee, Mrs. Donoho has been a valued resident of Farmers Branch
for the past 38 years, where she is a willing volunteer in various
endeavors at her church; in addition, this retired teacher makes
time in her life to pursue such interests as golf, reading, and
bridge; and
WHEREAS, Blessed with a close-knit circle of loving relatives
and dear friends, Mrs. Donoho is the matriarch of a treasured family
that includes two daughters, four grandchildren, and three
great-grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, The birthday of Betty Donoho provides a fitting
opportunity to honor this delightful woman, whose warmth and wisdom
have enriched the lives of countless people; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby warmly congratulate Betty
H. Donoho on the joyous occasion of her 90th birthday and extend to
her sincere best wishes for continued happiness and good fortune;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mrs. Donoho as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
