R E S O L U T I O N

	WHEREAS, The Reverend Clifton Igo and Norma Igo of Lamesa 

marked the memorable milestone of their 65th wedding anniversary 

with a family celebration on August 6, 2005; and

	WHEREAS, Members of the Gunter High School Class of 1939, 

Reverend Igo and the former Norma Jean Spradling were joined in 

matrimony that same year at a ceremony held at the bride's home in 

Gunter, and they have made their home in West Texas since 1954; and

	WHEREAS, Through the years, Reverend and Mrs. Igo have shared 

an enduring union and been blessed with a cherished family that 

includes five children, 13 grandchildren, and 10 

great-grandchildren; and

	WHEREAS, Together, this devoted pair have experienced the 

trials and triumphs of 65 years of marriage, and the strength of 

their love and commitment ensures that many more joyful times await 

them; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 

Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby warmly congratulate 

Clifton and Norma Igo on their 65th wedding anniversary and extend 

to them heartfelt best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it 

further

	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 

prepared for Reverend and Mrs. Igo as an expression of high regard 

by the Texas House of Representatives.
