Amend CSHB 3 as follows:                                                     



(1)  On page 7, line 13, strike "or".

	(2)  On page 7, line 15, strike "." and substitute "; or".       

	(3)  On page 7, between lines 15 and 16, insert the 

following:               

		(10)  a health care provider.                                          

	(4)  On page 7, between lines 20 and 21, insert the 

following:               

	(e)  In this section, "health care provider" means a legal 

entity that participates in the Medicaid program, Medicare program,  

Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), state workers' 

compensation program, or TRICARE military health system as a 

provider of health care services.  The term includes a health care 

institution.
