A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to school district internal auditors.                                
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  Subchapter D, Chapter 11, Education Code, is 
amended by adding Subsection (f) to Section 11.151 to read as 
follows:
	(f)  A school district internal auditor shall be selected by 
and report directly to the trustees.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect on the 91st day after the 
last day of the legislative session.
