A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to making an appropriation to the Parks and Wildlife 
Department for the operation and maintenance of the Texas State 
Railroad.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:                        
	SECTION 1.  In addition to other amounts appropriated for 
the state fiscal biennium ending August 31, 2007, that may be used 
for this purpose, the amount of $500,000 is appropriated out of the 
general revenue fund to the Parks and Wildlife Department for the 
state fiscal year ending August 31, 2007, for the purpose of 
operating and maintaining the Texas State Railroad.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect immediately if it receives 
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as 
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution.  If this 
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this 
Act takes effect on the 91st day after the last day of the 
legislative session.
