R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, March 19, 2006, was truly a special day for Midland residents B. H. and Pat Spaw, for on that day they celebrated the milestone of their golden wedding anniversary; and WHEREAS, United in matrimony in 1956 at Jackson Avenue Baptist Church in Lovington, New Mexico, Mr. Spaw and the former Patricia Kupatt have since enjoyed a union blessed with three daughters, Sheila Schoolcraft and her husband, Eldon, Shara Wright and her husband, Johnny, and Deanne Edwards, and three grandchildren, Cooper, Nicole, and Gentry; and WHEREAS, Former residents of Fort Stockton and Alice, the pair have made Midland their home for the past 38 years and are valued members of Memorial Christian Church; and WHEREAS, The lasting union of B. H. and Pat Spaw remains an inspiration to all those who have shared in the richness of their lives, and it is indeed a pleasure to honor them on five decades of happiness together; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate B. H. and Pat Spaw on the joyous occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them heartfelt best wishes for the future; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Spaw as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
