H.R. No. 108



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Connie and Mary Patterson of Midland celebrated a 
remarkable 60 years of marriage on August 8, 2005; and
	WHEREAS, United in matrimony in 1945 in Stamford, Mr. 
Patterson and the former Mary Boone have shared an enduring union 
that has been blessed with a son, Billy; and
	WHEREAS, The couple have been valued members of the Midland 
community since 1948; both retired since 1992, Mr. Patterson worked 
at Qualified Printers, while Mrs. Patterson was an employee of 
Admarc Advertising; and
	WHEREAS, For more than six decades, this devoted couple have 
nurtured a strong bond of love and mutual respect, filling each 
other's lives with many happy times and cherished family memories, 
and it is indeed a pleasure to honor them; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Connie and 
Mary Patterson on their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them 
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Patterson as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
