H.R. No. 109



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Dan and Rita Garner of Midland marked a special 
milestone in their life together on September 23, 2005, when they 
commemorated their golden wedding anniversary; and
	WHEREAS, United in matrimony in 1955 in Lordsburg, New 
Mexico, the Garners have since been blessed with three children, 
Bruce Garner, Sandra Abbott, and Debora Scott; moreover, they have 
shared in the joy of welcoming six grandchildren and 14 
great-grandchildren into their family; and
	WHEREAS, For half a century, this devoted couple have 
nurtured a strong bond of love and mutual respect, filling each 
other's lives with many happy times and cherished family memories, 
and it is a pleasure to honor them; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Dan and Rita 
Garner on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere 
best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Garner as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
