R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Howard and JoAnn Staudt of Lamesa marked the 
memorable milestone of their 50th wedding anniversary on November 
22, 2005; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Staudt and the former JoAnn Hoskins were united 
in matrimony in 1955 in Lovington, New Mexico, and the couple have 
since enjoyed a rewarding marriage that has continued to grow in 
love and devotion with each passing year; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Staudt have been blessed with a fine 
family, including their children, Teresa Staudt and Chris Staudt 
and his wife, Gezelle, as well as four cherished grandchildren, 
Jason, Kimberly, Mavrick, and Alexis; and
	WHEREAS, For five decades, Howard and JoAnn Staudt have 
shared life's trials and triumphs hand in hand, and their lasting 
union offers eloquent testimony to the enduring power of love; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Howard and 
JoAnn Staudt on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them 
best wishes for many more years of happiness together; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Staudts as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
