R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, A golden wedding anniversary is truly cause for celebration, and in August 2005, Dee and Bill Wilson of Midland were joined by their loved ones as they commemorated this significant milestone in their long and happy marriage; and WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson and the former Dolores Hudson were married on August 26, 1955, at the First Baptist Church in Olney; over the years they have been blessed with a large and loving family that includes two daughters, Pam and Kim, and their respective families, Bruce, Stacey, and Michael Moore and Steve and Sarah Keller; and WHEREAS, A graduate of Tarleton and North Texas State University, Mr. Wilson worked for 17 years with Acme Brick Co. and retired from a 26-year tenure with Rogers Ford Sales, while Mrs. Wilson, who also attended North Texas State, is retired from 20 years of service as an administrative assistant to Frank Agar with the Carlow Corporation; and WHEREAS, The enduring union of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson remains a source of inspiration to all those with whom they have shared the richness of their lives; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Bill and Dee Wilson of Midland on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Wilson as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
