H.R. No. 137



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Charles and Nancy Sessions celebrated their 50th 
wedding anniversary on October 22, 2005, marking a golden milestone 
in their long and happy union; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Sessions and the former Nancy Swindler were 
married in 1955 in a ceremony held at the First Baptist Church of 
Monahans; their enduring union has been blessed with a large and 
close-knit family that includes four children, Marla Wootan and 
Mark, Greg, and Daryl Sessions, as well as five grandchildren and 
three great-grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, Today valued residents of Midland, the couple 
previously lived in Wichita Falls, Pampa, Lubbock, Monahans, 
Dallas, and Houston; Mr. Sessions is retired from a 34-year career 
with Mobil Oil Corporation, while Mrs. Sessions has been a career 
homemaker throughout the years; and
	WHEREAS, Together this devoted pair have shared the myriad 
joys and challenges of marriage and parenthood, and the strong bond 
of love they have forged ensures that many more joyful times await 
them; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Nancy and 
Charles Sessions on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to 
them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Sessions as an expression of high regard 
by the Texas House of Representatives.
