R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Pastor Jack Anthony Crane, Pastor Emeritus James Lee
Crane, and members of the Truevine Missionary Baptist Church of
Fort Worth, Inc., celebrated the dedication of their new facility
on January 29, 2006, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony; and
WHEREAS, Truevine Missionary Baptist was founded by Pastor
Emeritus James Lee Crane in 1967; the church subsequently united
with the Northwestern District Association, and in 1998 it became
incorporated; two years later, Pastor Emeritus Crane entrusted the
leadership of the church to his son, Pastor Jack Anthony Crane; and
WHEREAS, The congregants of Truevine Missionary Baptist have
demonstrated a strong commitment to bettering their community
through various outreach endeavors, and this splendid new facility
will enable them to expand those vital efforts; among the
undertakings currently planned by the membership are educational
and mentoring programs for inner-city youth; and
WHEREAS, Sustained by a common purpose, warm fellowship, and
inspired teaching, the parishioners of Truevine Missionary Baptist
have remained steadfast in their care for one another and in their
ministry to the world around them, and it is a pleasure to join in
commemorating this special milestone in the life of their church;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby warmly congratulate the
pastors and all those associated with the Truevine Missionary
Baptist Church of Fort Worth, Inc., on the dedication of the
church's new facility and extend to them sincere best wishes for the
future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the church as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
