R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Abdul Pasha has been named the Boys and Girls Club 
Youth of the Year for Brazoria County and the East Texas Region, and 
he is most deserving of special recognition for his many impressive 
achievements; and
	WHEREAS, For the past three years, Mr. Pasha has been a member 
of the Boys and Girls Club, where he has given the majority of his 
time to Teen Court, contributing more than 350 hours to the program; 
and
	WHEREAS, He serves as vice president of the Teen Court Club at 
Brazoswood High School and is dedicated to the guiding principles 
of this fine organization; moreover, he is actively involved in 
debate, drama, tennis, the Scholastic Bowl, and University 
Interscholastic League competition at his high school; and
	WHEREAS, This exceptional young man is making a positive 
difference in the lives of his peers; a notable role model, he has 
demonstrated the determination, maturity, and high moral standards 
needed to be a true leader; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Abdul Pasha on 
being named Youth of the Year for the Boys and Girls Club of 
Brazoria County and extend to him sincere best wishes for the 
future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Pasha as expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
