R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The third annual Women And Girls Conference of the 
Missionary Baptist General Convention of Texas is being held in 
Dallas from May 4 to 6, 2006; and
	WHEREAS, A highly anticipated and joyous event, the annual 
conference unites girls and women of faith from across the Lone Star 
State and promises to be of significant benefit to all who attend; 
and
	WHEREAS, "Passionately Proclaiming the Exclusive Claims of 
Jesus Christ" is the theme of the symposium, which features special 
interest workshops, motivational speakers, and ample opportunity 
for fellowship and worship; and
	WHEREAS, Working to encourage and support women is truly a 
commendable endeavor, and the annual Women And Girls Conference has 
greatly enriched the lives of countless participants; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commemorate the third 
annual Women And Girls Conference of the Missionary Baptist General 
Convention of Texas and extend to all those involved sincere best 
wishes for a successful event.
