H.R. No. 253


R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and meaningful accomplishments may comfort the family and friends of Fonda Lynette Gregg Gray of Whitesboro, who passed away on April 1, 2006; and WHEREAS, This talented woman enjoyed a successful and active childhood, participating in FFA, 4-H, choir, and her church youth group; she also composed a host of songs and showed livestock; and WHEREAS, An Eisenhower Award winner, Mrs. Gray earned an associate's degree in business from Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma; she served as a matron at Texas United Pentecostal Church International camps for many years and was active with her church and the Texas Republican Party; and WHEREAS, Those fortunate to have known Mrs. Gray will remember her enduring love of family and community; although she will be sorely missed, her legacy will live on in the hearts of those whose lives she touched; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of Fonda Lynette Gregg Gray and extend deepest sympathy to the members of her family: to her husband, Kelly Gray; to her daughter, Amber; and to the other relatives and friends of this much loved woman; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Fonda Lynette Gregg Gray.
