R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, May 6, 2006, is indeed a special day for State 
Representative Mary Denny and her husband, Norman Tolpo, for on 
that day they are celebrating their first wedding anniversary; and
	WHEREAS, This devoted couple exchanged their vows one year 
ago in the chamber of the Texas House of Representatives, 
surrounded by colleagues and loved ones; and
	WHEREAS, Now in her seventh term in office, Representative 
Denny placed a Christmas card order one year, little dreaming that 
such a request would be filled by her future husband, who is a 
photographer, and would carry with it a love that would last a 
lifetime; and
	WHEREAS, The pair have shared many happy times in the past 
year; avid travelers, they have recently journeyed to Africa, South 
America, Alaska, Canada, and the western United States; and
	WHEREAS, Through the support they have received from one 
another, family, and friends, the bonds of matrimony have grown 
stronger with each passing day, and May 6, 2006, will surely be the 
first of many cherished anniversaries; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby honor State Representative 
Mary Denny and her husband Norman Tolpo on their first wedding 
anniversary and extend to them best wishes for continued happiness.
