R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Adulthood is a time of intellectual growth, 
emotional maturity, and increased personal responsibilities, and, 
at the age of 20, Nicholas Lowery Nixon is a fine young man on his 
way to becoming a very accomplished adult; and
	WHEREAS, Following in the footsteps of his father, 
Representative Joe Nixon, Mr. Nixon attends Texas A&M University, 
where he is pursuing a degree in construction science; a 
hardworking student who is also involved in many community 
activities, he plans to graduate in December 2007; and
	WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan enjoys serving others, and for 
the past three summers he has gained important experience as a 
counselor at Camp Champions in Marble Falls; and
	WHEREAS, A devoted son and brother, Mr. Nixon is a source of 
pride for his parents, whom he has heartily supported in their many 
endeavors, and as he encounters the new challenges and 
opportunities that lie ahead, he will surely continue to make them 
proud; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby honor Nicholas Lowery Nixon 
for his achievements and extend to him sincere best wishes for 
continued happiness and success in the years to come; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Nixon as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
