R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Anne Foster of Richardson has distinguished herself 
as an eloquent advocate for educational excellence, and she has 
demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment to her 
community; and
	WHEREAS, For nine years, Mrs. Foster has served on the board 
of the Richardson Independent School District and was president of 
the board for seven of those years; her complementary talents for 
creative leadership and thoughtful consensus-building have greatly 
benefited RISD and, by extension, all those who have a stake in the 
education of Texas children; and
	WHEREAS, A Realtor in the Dallas and Richardson area for the 
past 24 years, she founded the organization Realtors Supporting 
Richardson Schools in 1998; she is an active supporter of many 
community organizations, including the Richardson Regional Medical 
Center Foundation and the Northeast Dallas Chamber of Commerce; a 
graduate of Leadership Texas and a former president of the 
Richardson Rotary Club, Mrs. Foster also serves as a director of the 
Metro Tex Association of Realtors and chairs that organization's 
Public Education committee; and
	WHEREAS, In all her endeavors, Mrs. Foster has enjoyed the 
love and support of her husband, John, and their sons, Ryan and 
Andrew; and
	WHEREAS, Young people are the Lone Star State's most precious 
natural resource, and in giving of her time and talent in behalf of 
their education, Anne Foster has earned the respect and gratitude 
of every Texan; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby honor Anne Foster for her 
dedication to education and to the Richardson community and extend 
to her sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mrs. Foster as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
