R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS,  Liberty residents Henry and Bennie Dugat are 
celebrating the joyous occasion of their 46th wedding anniversary 
on May 21, 2006; and
	WHEREAS, Dr. Dugat and the former Bennie Durham were united 
in matrimony on May 21, 1960, at Trinity Valley Baptist Church in 
Liberty, after being childhood sweethearts for 10 years; over the 
years, the loving couple have been blessed with five children, 
Cynthia Mosley, Henry L. Dugat, Jr., Daphne Dickerson, Alonzo 
Dugat, and Christopher Dugat, and have enjoyed welcoming 15 
grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren into their lives; and
	WHEREAS, A distinguished minister of music, Dr. Dugat has 
served churches throughout Southeast Texas, while Mrs. Dugat has 
had a successful career as a medical technologist; in June 2006, she 
will earn a bachelor's degree from United Christian Theological 
Institute and join her husband in serving her community of faith; 
and
	WHEREAS, For more than four decades, Dr. and Mrs. Dugat have 
shared life's trials and triumphs, and their enduring union is a 
source of inspiration to all who are privileged to know them; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Henry and 
Bennie Dugat on the occasion of their 46th wedding anniversary and 
extend to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be 
it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Dr. and Mrs. Dugat as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
