R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Carter Randall Ware of Boy Scouts of America Troop No. 104 in Galveston has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and this accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is a significant honor, bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the scouting movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding criteria, Mr. Ware earned the requisite 21 merit badges and successfully completed an Eagle Scout project of benefit to his community, which involved building a special brick pathway at the Houston Audubon Society Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary; and WHEREAS, He also comleted special scout leadership training not only in Texas but also at the National Youth Leadership Instruction Course at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico; and WHEREAS, A sophomore at Ball High School in Galveston, Mr. Ware is active in numerous activities; he serves on the executive board of the student council, belongs to the National Honor Society, and plays on the tennis team; and WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Ware's dedication to excellence and his perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him worthy to stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect with pride on a job well done; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Carter Randall Ware on becoming an Eagle Scout and extend to him best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Eagle Scout Ware as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
