R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Sarah Middlebrook of West has earned the title of 
the 2006 Miss Texas Czech-Slovak Queen, and in August 2006, she will 
go on to compete in the Miss Czech-Slovak USA Pageant; and
	WHEREAS, Representing the McLennan-Hill Czech Society, Miss 
Middlebrook also earned the Introduction and On-Stage Interview 
award and the Kroj Modeling award; moreover, her charm and 
affability won her the admiration of her fellow contestants, who 
voted her Miss Congeniality; and
	WHEREAS, Miss Middlebrook, the daughter of Edward and Sharon 
Middlebrook, is currently a senior at West High School; and
	WHEREAS, Demonstrating great poise and cultural pride, Sarah 
Middlebrook has proven what can be accomplished with dedication and 
hard work, and she undoubtedly has a bright future; now, therefore, 
be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Sarah 
Middlebrook on being crowned the 2006 Miss Texas Czech-Slovak Queen 
and extend to her best wishes for continued success; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Miss Middlebrook as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
