R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, After 26 years of service, Roy Angermiller of Knippa has retired as an agribusiness management instructor and rodeo coach at Southwest Texas Junior College; and WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan earned a bachelor's degree and a master of education degree from Sul Ross State University, where he excelled at rodeo sports; formerly ranked in the top 10 of both steer wrestling and steer roping by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association, Mr. Angermiller made an outstanding addition to the rodeo coaching staff of SWTJC; a Uvalde native, he also brought a wealth of local ranch and farm knowledge to his agribusiness management courses; and WHEREAS, For more than a quarter-century, Roy Angermiller has served SWTJC students with integrity and dedication, and it is a pleasure to recognize him for his exemplary tenure as he embarks on an exciting new chapter in his life; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Roy Angermiller on the occasion of his retirement from Southwest Texas Junior College and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Angermiller as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
