R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Juan Tijerina is marking a special milestone in his life on May 12, 2006, with his graduation from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth; and WHEREAS, This accomplished gentleman earned his bachelor's degree from The University of Texas-Pan American, where he majored in political science and sociology, and went on to attain a master's degree in clinical psychology; and WHEREAS, A loving husband to his wife, Tozi Gutierrez, and father to his young children, Juan Marcel Tijerina and Isabella Seren Tijerina, Mr. Tijerina also enjoys the support of his entire family, which includes his parents, Amaro and Aida Tijerina, his brothers, Amaro and Homero Tijerina, his sister, Julissa Tijerina, his maternal grandmother, Tille Lopez, and his paternal grandparents, Abelardo and Leonor Tijerina; and WHEREAS, In achieving his educational goals, Mr. Tijerina has demonstrated dedication and intelligence that will serve him well in the years to come, and all those who know him look forward to watching as a career of great promise unfolds; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Juan Tijerina on his graduation from Texas Wesleyan School of Law and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Tijerina as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
