R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The life of Lisa M. Ranly, which brought so much joy and happiness into the lives of others, ended far too soon with her passing on January 21, 2006; and WHEREAS, She was the cherished daughter of Bette C. Ranly and the late Jerome C. Ranly, and she enjoyed the companionship and affection of a sister, Cheryl, and two generations of nephews, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and WHEREAS, Although it is immeasurably difficult to say farewell to a treasured loved one, Lisa Ranly will long be remembered by those who were privileged to share in her friendship during her years on this earth; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of Lisa M. Ranly and extend deepest sympathy to the members of her family: to her mother, Bette C. Ranly; to her sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl Ranly Lee and Grady Lee; to her nephews, Tommy E. Rhodes, Jr., and his wife, Letrica, and Timothy C. Rhodes and his wife, Melissa; to her grandnephew, Tommy James Rhodes; to her uncles, Danny R. Ranly and John C. Crager; to her aunts, Edna Ranly, Jeanne Peavy, and Otelia Shenkir; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Lisa M.
