R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The family and friends of James and Jane Curry of Woodway share in the celebration of the couple's 50th wedding anniversary in the year 2006; and WHEREAS, Joined in matrimony on April 28, 1956, in a ceremony held in Marlin, Mr. and Mrs. Curry have nurtured a fulfilling union that has brought them many enjoyable times and cherished memories; and WHEREAS, Their treasured family includes a son, James C. Curry, a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Russell Graham, and four grandchildren, Laurin Curry and Robert, Michael, and Stephanie Graham; and WHEREAS, Mrs. Curry is employed as a senior lecturer with Baylor University, while Mr. Curry is retired from a career in administration with the Waco Veterans Hospital; they are both members of Mooreville United Methodist Church; and WHEREAS, For five decades, this devoted couple have met life's trials and triumphs hand in hand, and their enduring marriage remains a source of joy and inspiration to all who treasure them; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby warmly congratulate James and Jane Curry on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Curry as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
