R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, William P. and Billie Fae Bowen of Caddo Mills 
marked a significant milestone in their life together when they 
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 20, 2006; and
	WHEREAS, United in matrimony in 1956, Mr. and Mrs. Bowen have 
shared an enduring union blessed with two children, Pamela Stanley 
and Perry Bowen and his wife, Dana; moreover, they have shared in 
the joy of welcoming into their family three grandchildren, Chase 
and Brooke Bowen and Evan Stanley; and
	WHEREAS, For more than half a century, this devoted couple 
have built a strong bond of love and mutual respect, filling each 
other's lives with many happy times and cherished family memories, 
and it is a pleasure to honor them at this time; now, therefore, be 
it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate William P. and 
Billie Fae Bowen on their golden wedding anniversary and extend to 
them best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Bowen as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
