R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The generosity of spirit and tireless devotion of
Sylvia Margarita Origel-Richards of El Paso are an inspiration to
all those who are fortunate to know her; and
WHEREAS, Deeply committed to her family, Mrs. Richards
possesses exemplary strength and courage, meeting life's many ups
and downs with graceful assurance; as a wife, daughter, sister,
mother, and friend, she often puts the needs of others before her
own and does not hesitate to advocate for those who cannot do so for
themselves; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan left a promising career in
Dallas to care for her ailing parents in El Paso, and this is only
one example of her innumerable acts of selflessness; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Richards touches the lives of countless people
with her loving kindness, and it is a pleasure to join her family in
honoring her for her unwavering dedication to others; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend Sylvia Margarita
Origel-Richards for her many good works and extend to her sincere
best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mrs. Richards as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
