H.R. No. 725



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The birth of Samantha Jewel "Saje" Winder to David 
and Renee Winder of Angleton on April 4, 2006, was truly a joyous 
and unforgettable occasion for these two esteemed Texans; and
	WHEREAS, Making her way into the world at 12:26 p.m., this 
welcome addition to the Winder household weighed a surprising 9 
pounds, 7 ounces, measured 19-3/4 inches in length, and had an 
abundance of long black hair at birth; and
	WHEREAS, Blessed with beautiful eyes and a captivating smile, 
this charming little girl has already brightened the lives of 
everyone around her, being the first grandchild for doting 
grandparents John and Linda Winder of Angleton and Cindy Carter of 
Garland; and
	WHEREAS, Samantha Jewel Winder was named for her 
great-grandmother, and her extended family is delighted that the 
wonderful legacy of Jewel Winder will live on in this special child; 
and
	WHEREAS, As she begins life's fascinating journey, Saje has a 
future bright with promise as a child who will surely be well loved, 
nurtured, and inspired by those who have the privilege of raising 
her to adulthood; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby officially welcome 
Samantha Jewel "Saje" Winder as a new citizen of the great state of 
Texas and extend sincere congratulations to David and Renee Winder 
on the birth of their beloved daughter and first child; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for the Winders as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
