R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, February 8, 2006, was indeed a special day for Shera
and David Eichler of Austin, for on that day they became the proud
parents of a beautiful baby girl; and
WHEREAS, At 11:56 a.m. the corridors of St. David's Hospital
echoed with the cries of new life as Emerson Ann Eichler made her
long-awaited debut weighing 8 pounds, 5 ounces, and measuring 20.25
inches in length; and
WHEREAS, Among those captivated by this tiny Longhorn fan are
her paternal grandparents, Woody and Sue Eichler, maternal
grandparents, A. J. and Jo Kutac, great-grandparents, Newton and
Frieda Renken and Millie Kutac, and numerous aunts, uncles, and
cousins; this Capitol cutie has also developed a fan club of her own
at her mother's workplace, the office of State Representative
Dennis Bonnen, where she regularly holds court to the delight of
staffers and visitors alike; and
WHEREAS, Blessed with a joyful personality and a head full of
beautiful brown hair, Emerson has brightened the lives of everyone
around her, and it is truly a pleasure to announce her birth and
congratulate her parents; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby welcome Emerson Ann Eichler
as a new citizen of Texas and extend heartfelt congratulations to
David and Shera Eichler on the birth of their cherished new
daughter; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the Eichlers as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
