R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, During six terms as a member of the Texas Legislature, State Representative Suzanna Gratia Hupp has enjoyed the full support of her husband, Greg, and the couple's sons, Alex and Ethan; and WHEREAS, Her older son, Alex, was a newborn during her first campaign, and Representative Hupp gave birth to her younger son, Ethan, after she was in office; in the ensuing years, her duties have often made her unable to pick her sons up from school and caused her to miss many of their baseball games; through it all, the boys have remained patient and understanding of their mother's responsibilities at the State Capitol; and WHEREAS, Caring for their sons and sustaining the family's household in his wife's absence, Greg Hupp has willingly shouldered a heavy load and maintained a flexible schedule to ensure his wife's ability to meet the demands of her post, and his efforts have not only earned him the heartfelt appreciation of his spouse, but also transformed him from a good cook into a great one; and WHEREAS, The understanding and support of Greg, Alex, and Ethan Hupp have been crucial to the public service of Representative Hupp, and it is a pleasure to join her in honoring them at this time; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend Greg, Alex, and Ethan Hupp for their dedication to State Representative Suzanna Gratia Hupp over the course of her legislative service and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for the Hupps as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
