SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 48

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize James Thomas Minshew of Clute on the occasion of his 
high school graduation; and

	WHEREAS, James has demonstrated exceptional diligence and 
determination in accomplishing the goals he set for himself, and 
he has fulfilled all the requirements for graduation at home; and

	WHEREAS, Having faced the many challenges of a home school 
education, James now embarks on an adventure for which he is well 
prepared and that holds countless exciting opportunities for 
him; and

	WHEREAS, James has enhanced his educational 
accomplishments through his participation in scouting; an
Eagle Scout, he has provided leadership as a senior patrol leader 
and assistant scoutmaster; and

	WHEREAS, A high achiever, James's endeavors bear witness to 
his dedication and outstanding abilities, and the Texas Senate is 
proud to recognize his impressive accomplishment; now, 
therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend
James Thomas Minshew for his superior accomplishments and extend 
to him best wishes for success in all his future efforts; and, be 
it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
