SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 49

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Nolan Jacob Moore of Angleton on the occasion of his 
high school graduation on May 20, 2006; and

	WHEREAS, Nolan has demonstrated exceptional diligence and 
determination in accomplishing the goals he set for himself; he 
has fulfilled all the requirements for graduation at home and has 
already earned 27 college credits; and

	WHEREAS, Having faced the many challenges of a home school 
education, Nolan now embarks on an adventure for which he is well 
prepared and that holds countless exciting opportunities for 
him; and

	WHEREAS, Nolan has demonstrated his leadership skills by 
participating in local and national political campaigns and in 
4-H and other community events; he has also served as a pastoral 
assistant at Grace Baptist Church of Wild Peach; and

	WHEREAS, A high achiever, Nolan's endeavors bear witness to 
his dedication and outstanding abilities, and the Texas Senate is 
proud to recognize his impressive accomplishment; now, 
therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend
Nolan Jacob Moore for his superior accomplishments and extend to 
him best wishes for success in all his future efforts; and, be it 
further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
