SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 139
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Childress Regional Medical Center for being named one of the top 100 hospitals in the nation for 2005; and WHEREAS, Childress Regional Medical Center is one of only 20 small community hospitals recognized nationally by Solucient, a leading provider of information products for the health care industry; WHEREAS, The medical center was recognized in a study of hospitals conducted by Solucient published in Modern Healthcare magazine; the study was based on objective measurement in the areas of clinical outcomes, patient safety, operational efficiency, financial stability, and growth; and WHEREAS, Being named to Solucient's 100 top national hospitals illustrates the superior medical care that is provided to the citizens of Childress and the surrounding communities by medical practitioners, staff, and members of the board of directors for Childress Regional Medical Center; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 79th Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend members of the Childress Regional Medical Center community for their excellent service and extend congratulations to all on being named a top hospital for 2005; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
