SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 212

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize the Frisco High School Raccoons boys' swim team, which 
recently won the University Interscholastic League Class 4A 
state championship title; and
	WHEREAS, The Frisco Raccoons captured their second 
consecutive state championship by an impressive 79-point margin; 
the team took the gold medal in its first event of the meet, the 
200-yard medley relay, and several swimmers set school and state 
records in their events; and
	WHEREAS, These young athletes have demonstrated great 
talent and perseverance throughout the school year, and team 
members can take pride in their outstanding performance; and
	WHEREAS, Under the superior leadership and expertise of 
the head coach, Bruce Eubanks, the Frisco Raccoons have developed 
exceptional teamwork and discipline; and
	WHEREAS, Frisco High School and the City of Frisco are 
proud of the Raccoons for their hard work, their athletic skills, 
and their fine sportsmanship; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend the Frisco 
High School boys' swim team for their successful season and 
extend congratulations to them on winning their second 
consecutive University Interscholastic League Class 4A state 
championship; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
the team as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
