SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 250
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Elizabeth Hamm of Houston, who is being awarded
her well-earned diploma from the Texas School for the Deaf on
May 25, 2006; and
WHEREAS, Her graduation is the culmination of years of
diligent study and perseverance in the pursuit of her goals; and
WHEREAS, Elizabeth can take much pride in having earned
her diploma from the Texas School for the Deaf; the school is
respected in academic circles in Texas and throughout the nation
for its outstanding quality of instruction and dedication to
excellence; and
WHEREAS, Elizabeth has attended the Texas School for the
Deaf for the last four years and has been active in wrestling,
softball, and cheerleading; she was track manager for three years
and received academic recognition on the Silver Honor Roll; she
plans to attend Houston Community College; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate
Elizabeth Hamm on her graduation from the Texas School for the
Deaf and extend to her best wishes for much future success; and,
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
her as a memento of this milestone in her life and as an expression
of esteem from the Texas Senate.
