SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 261
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Nancy Gail Ottmers Hall, who retired from the Texas
Department of Criminal Justice on April 28, 2006, after 28 years
of loyal service; and
WHEREAS, Nancy Hall joined the Texas Department of
Criminal Justice on January 16, 1978, as a Clerk I; over the
years, she advanced steadily through the ranks of administrative
positions and joined the Review and Release Processing Unit; in
2000 she became a Program Administrator I, the position she held
at retirement; and
WHEREAS, Throughout her career, she has been noted for her
superior organizational skills and expert knowledge of the review
and release process; and
WHEREAS, Nancy Hall is a talented and resourceful
professional, and she has handled her many responsibilities
with exceptional efficiency and dedication; and
WHEREAS, An exemplary employee, Nancy Hall is admired
and respected by her colleagues, and her presence at the Texas
Department of Criminal Justice will be greatly missed; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend
Nancy Gail Ottmers Hall on her exceptional service and her
many contributions to our state and extend to her best wishes
for the retirement years ahead; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
