Fiscal Analysis

The bill would appropriate $312,522 to the Texas Commission on the Arts to maintain agency programs.

The bill would take effect immediately upon enactment, assuming that it received the requisite two-thirds majority votes in both houses of the Legislature. Otherwise, it would take effect on 91st day after the last day of the legislative session.

Methodology

The appropriation to the Texas Commission on the Arts to maintain programs would be $156,261 in both FY 2006 and FY 2007.

This analysis assumes immediate effect.
