HB149 by Chisum (Relating to a clean coal project. ), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would provide title to the Railroad Commission to carbon dioxide taken through a FutureGen clean coal project. Although the agency could produce revenues from the sale of such carbon dioxide, no significant fiscal impact is expected to result from the bill's enactment until at least 2012, when construction of the FutureGen project would be complete.

The bill would take effect on September 1, 2006.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
