SB41 by Williams (Relating to the recovery and securitization of hurricane reconstruction costs incurred by certain electric utilities outside of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas area.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Public Utility Commission indicates that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a two-thirds vote in each house. Otherwise, it would take effect on the 91st day after the last day of the legislative session.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
