Amend CSHB 2 by inserting the following appropriately 
numbered new SECTION in the bill and renumbering the subsequent 
SECTIONS accordingly:
	"SECTION     . Subchapter D, Chapter 33, Education Code, is 
amended by adding Section 33.087 to read as follows:
	Sec. 33.087. ELIGIBILITY OF STUDENTS ENROLLED IN COURSES FOR 
JOINT HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE CREDIT. A student otherwise eligible 
to participate in an extracurricular activity or a University 
Interscholastic League competition is not ineligible because the 
student is enrolled in a course offered for joint high school and 
college credit, regardless of the location at which the course is 
provided."
