Amend CSHB 3 as follows:                                                     

(1)  On page 10, line 13, after the semicolon, strike "or".
	(2)  On page 10, line 16, strike "." and substitute ";".         
	(3)  On page 10, between lines 16 and 17, insert:                              
		(8) to a taxing unit or the authorized agent or 
representative of a taxing unit that is engaged in or conducting a 
study of property values in the taxing unit; or
		(9)  to the authorized agent or representative of a 
taxing unit that is representing the taxing unit in a protest 
brought under Section 403.303, Government Code, of a finding of the 
comptroller under Section 403.302 of that code.
