Amend CSHB 340 (Senate committee printing) as follows:                       

(1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, at the end of added Subsection 	(f), Section 60.0775, Water Code (page 1, line 32), insert the 
following:

A reserve force member who is a peace officer under that article 
must hold a permanent peace officer license issued under Chapter 
1701, Occupations Code.
	(2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, following added Subsection 
(i), Section 60.0775, Water Code (page 1, between lines 60 and 61), 
insert the following:
	(j)  After being appointed under this section, a reserve 
police officer must execute an oath and execute a bond in the amount 
of $2,000 payable to the commission.  The officer may not perform 
any duties under this section until the officer files the oath and 
bond with the commission's secretary.
