System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.

	Amend HB 538, 2nd Reading Engrossment, as follows:                           
	(1)  On page 2, line 11, strike "mail notice" and substitute 
"send notice by certified mail".
	(2)  On page 3, after line 9, insert a new Subsection (f) to 
read as follows:
	(f)  A person who is required to provide notice under this 
section and fails to provide the notice commits an offense. Each 
failure to provide notice to a municipality or property owner 
constitutes a separate offense. An offense under this subsection is 
a Class C misdemeanor.
