Amend HB 839 (House Committee Printing) as follows:                          
	(1)  On page 5, line 7 add the following:                                      
	SECTION 2. Article 18.18, Code of Criminal Procedure, is 
amended by adding subsection (h) to read as follows:
	"(h)  No provider of an electronic communication service or 
of a remote computing service to the public shall be held liable for 
an offense involving obscene material or child pornography under 
this section on account of any action taken in good faith in 
providing that service."
	(2)  Renumber SECTIONS of the bill appropriately.
