System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.

	Amend HB 1006 by adding the following section to the bill, 
appropriately numbered, and renumbering existing sections 
accordingly:
	SECTION     .  Section 26.07, Tax Code, is amended by adding 
subsection (h) to read as follows:
	Sec. 26.07(h) Within 30 days following every gubernatorial 
election in the state, the Secretary of State shall:
		(1)  determine for each property taxing unit in the 
state the number of registered voters in the unit that voted in the 
gubernatorial election; and
		(2)  publish the numbers for each unit on the Secretary 
of State's Web site.
